CD Cover Inspiration

After researching into some CD covers that appeal to my target audience, I have found one that I would like to use as inspiration for my album cover I am going to create.

It is 'Examples, Playing in the Shadows' album cover. The use of simplistic colours creates a sense of mystery. As well as this, the black and white image symbolises the album name 'shadows' a Example is half enclosed in a shadow on the cover. The album cover appeals to the target audience which is example fans and hip-hop/rap fans as it shows an image of the well-known artists and everyone knows what sort of music he does.

I feel that creating an album cover similar to this would be pretty easy for me due to the fact my mum is a professional photographer so she has a studio at home I could use if needs be. I aim to use this to my advantage and create a professional looking album cover.
